The Monroe County Sheriff’s Foundation will host its 2016 Golf Classic on Monday, July 11, at Midvale Country Club in Penfield, New York. The Foundation’s Golf Classic is the primary fundraiser for this unique non-profit agency that reaches out to the entire community in an effective and innovative way.
The money raised in this classic funds programs such as D.A.R.E., which provides children with education on safety and prevention of drugs and alcohol; and the Sheriff’s Summer Camp Initiative, which provides troubled children and those less fortunate an opportunity to go to camp with deputies as role models. In addition, your participation helps provide special equipment to the Monroe County Sheriff’s office that would not be possible with county funding alone.
